Also ISIS controls a small pocket of territory in Syria directly along the Israeli held golan heights, local Druze accuse ISrael of accepting ISIS and Nusra militants for treatment before returning to Syria. This also was proven true, the US airbase outside of Ramadi is very close to ISIS lines, yet no effort was ever made to counter the advance in the region. I've studied Syria on a daily basis everyday since day one.
I think Turkey, and gulf states directly support ISIS, we sometimes aid them in Syria, and bomb them in Iraq mostly. This is more for containment efforts, we as the US support Al-Nusra, this there is undeniable proof.
