there is a file named "everything tanteidan" or something like this which is often posted on the origami books thread. It contains all the books and the vast majority of the magazines. But i've heard some people complaining about the tanteidan 21 not beeing complete, so maybe it's the same for the books you ask (but i don't think so)
So, if you haven't downloaded the everything tanteidan then go download it first. If you already have there's nothing i can do for you.

I do respond to e-mails and flickr mails. I have posted a few times a whole big thing on why the course isn't public (not my design, inauthentic collapse method that I don't want to reflect on Kamiya, etc.) I've never charged for it -but- it isn't meant for anyone who isn't extremely self-motivated. I put up Lessons 1-5 so if you end up with a nice tail, maybe you'll be OK with the other lessons. I can say for sure that since I put up 1-5 on 4chan, nobody has sent me a tail in order to continue. People just download it and hold onto it. It's not a good incentive to release the rest.

I am wondering what type of paper did you used for 2.1 and 3.5. is it tracing paper?
I used tracing paper once for a 2.1 but it cracked and I didn't like it that much. Kraft always gives me problems with body curve and 3.5 leg thickness. The only Ryujins I'm happy with (out of 15) are a 64-based version and a 3.1, both made from mulberry tissue from World Market treated with MC.

That's the rice paper I used for the Youtube 2.1 and my first 3.5. It's good paper but I could do much better now if I tried again.

Yeah I know. I've contributed stuff to them before. The book isn't really payment, its kinda just a thank you sort of thing.
Artists contribute their models to these books because they want people to fold them, not because they want "payment". It takes dozens of hours to diagram something. A copy of COS is like $12. That's a REALLY bad deal if the copy of the book is meant to be payment. I guess that deal gets a bit better with Tanteidan and OUSA, but it would still be hard to find a much worse way of making money.
If artists are contributing so that people can see their models, what's wrong with people sharing the book? I guess what I'm saying is, whether or not you are trying to make money, sharing this books seems OK to me. If making money is the point, you're fucking over the artists and sharing this would be fine unless you started really paying them. If making money isn't the point, sharing should be fine.
