and Merry Christmas!
i got a Nikon coolpix 500
but the problem is that i am a retard.
I forgot to take the cover of before turning it on and now the screen only shows the error message >Turn the Camera off remove the cover and switch it back on.<
Obviously i already tried that.
when i turn it on the lense keeps moving back and forth and the message occurs.
I dont know what to do and thought someone may have had a smiliar experience.

We do not give technical support for unpopular proprietrary products. It is really bad idea to try solving hardware problems here instead of places which you should address first.
