Had the chance to shoot with a friend and would like to get some feedback. These were edited in VSCO on my phone - I don't know why there's that weird banding happening.

Poses and composition are fine I'd say. But you've got to work on that background. It makes a big difference. There's not much figure-to-ground with that white wall especially with the processing technique. And also the clutter is distracting.

Why do you hate your time and work? Do you think of yourself so poorly that you can't devote time and attention to your works? If YOU don't have the attention span necessary to editing your work in a useful manner, why should WE care for your photos?
Get rid of the vignette. It is really distracting. It takes no more than one or two clicks in Lightroom and typically one click in Capture NX-D. Your photo would become twice as striking without this.
Another important thing to do in post is smart sharpening. (I don't necessarily mean "smart sharpen" in Photoshop, but that is certainly an option.) They are a bit soft and when done right sharpening combined with specialized noise removal software can improve the MTF curve of your photo without noticeable increase in noise. Find the right pixel ratio and you can do 100-200% sharpening + noise removal to get basically the same level of noise as the original with much sharper edges and micro-contrast.
Simple looking photos like these benefit massively from this.
