I don't like those wheels. I think something busier, maybe a little bigger (17" 7 spoke or something, I dunno) would look better. I like Skylines, don't get me wrong. But the ass on those cars are loooong and the 5 spoke doesn't satisfy me or fill out the flare like it ought to. Then again, I can't see the rest of the car, maybe it makes up for it. Good shot though!

Love it. Love everything about it. I've had it a year now, and it's been amazing. I was looking at the D610 and the 6D, but I think I made the right choice.
The only problem I've had with it was that after about two months the auto-focus just straight up stopped working. I had to send it back to Nikon, took about 3 weeks to get it back, but they didn't hassle me about it. That has been the only problem I've had.

yeah, was on 100% power because it was daylight and @ F13 trying to darken the background on the flash shots...lucky it was overcast, I think I'd need to go with ND filters and maybe two flashes at once if I want to do this in direct sunlight though.

Is it free? I really don't care to spend hours dicking with my photos in some program, I prefer to keep what I shoot, and just throw away the bad stuff. I really can't justify spending money on photo editing software that will really only be used to resize/reformat photos.
Typically I remember to shoot RAW/JPEG, but sometimes I change settings to keep from clogging up my cards.

Wanting a bit of advice, I have a d3300 that's just got the 18-55mm kit lens for now, my main interest is shooting cars and other automotive stuff, the 18-55mm is pretty good for some basic photos and shooting some car shows, should I look into something with a fair bit more zoom though? Like 200mm or longer so I can shoot a bit of Motorsport or just mess with focal length taking photos of cars? I notice a lot of people who take good photographs of cars do so with long lenses for quite a way back instead of sitting close with a wide.

using longer lenses and being further back are better for getting profile shots imo, and make the car's proportions look a bit more balanced
something like a 70-300mm would be good for using at the track, my 70-200 and 300mm lenses both get the most use when I'm trackside
