I believe it keeps the address anonymous. If an is bought, it will remove it from the wish list. There's also an option for you to remain "blind" on your own wishlist. Basically, your wishlist remains static to you and does not show you which item was bought for you. This keeps the surprise, so I like this option.

Well I gifted 3 sc/out/s last year despite being a poorfag and I got some pretty sweet gifts bought for me too. I love this yearly thread, it's a brilliant idea and it gives you good feels to gift anons for some reason. well, there isn't anything manufactured I really wanted but there is something else. I'm sewing my own down sleeping bag this winter with wild canada goose down I collected in the fall. I could use some more high fill down. Thru-hiker has similar stuff to what I collected at $40/3oz. 900 fill.
