Does /out/ ever get blisters from hiking? I just got some on both of my heels for the first time after getting new shoes, and its fucking bullshit. Now i've looked up all this information about tying shoes differently and getting some fancy expensive socks.
Does /out/ have any recommendations for good blister prevention?

YMMV
>thin inner stretchy liners
>smartwool outer sock
>bring extra pair of both
>wash the pair you wear at the end of the day
>wash them well
>put on clean pair
>wet pair rides strapped outside the pack to dry the whole next day
It's a little effort, and doesn't work as well if it's raining, but clean fluffy socks help prevent blisters better than dirty squashed fibers
Dubble socks and tape hot spots, don't tape too tight as you might fuck up nerves for awhile.

Not at all in my life.
Sometimes but never with boots outdoors.
10 days walking 25 miles a day and my feet were perfect at the end.

Sport tape, leukotape or similar stuff you can find at the drugstore. I suppose duct tape work but I've never tried it.
