I've got 99 problems but a valve aint one
Week before:

>go to start car
>dead battery
>friend and I go buy battery and a $5 wrench
>battery is an inch taller than the last
>figure I'll just use it to get to store and exchange
>put negative terminal on, go to tighten it
>fumble wrench and drop it on positive
>melts the terminal a little bit, can't swap it any more
