The Genesis coupe is the best looking and best performing car in its price range.

That one isn't performing anything anymore. Except suicide.
Its shifter sucks and its steering feel is lacking.
The V6 version gets outperformed by the fucking 4cyl turbo Mustang.
The pre-facelift models suffer from poor quality control.
On the other hand, I like that they actually make a sporty RWD coupe.
The V6 sounds pretty fucking good.
And if the rumors are true, its successor will have a 3.3l twin turbo V6, and maybe even suspension tuned by Lotus.
There's some real potential here, and they keep on improving generation upon generation so who knows, we might have a new Supra or 300ZX on our hands when the new one launches.

A sporty car purpose built to compete with V6 Pony cars, and comes pretty close.

I want to buy a 2010 2l turbo. Still has more power then my current dd and its the cheapest sports car for me to get into economically and physically. Being tall sucks sometimes.

80s junk is 80s junk. The 90s junk is 90s junk (although the 300 is reasonably fun to drive).
350 was supposed to be the legacy throwback and they made it fat and ugly, a large part of ruining the lines is the v6.

But both the Z31 and Z32 are V6s. Only the VQ35HR motors had the extra hump in the hood, and I happen to like it over the smooth hood of the non-HR models..
What exactly does the Genesis do?
It's too weak to be a pony car, too fat and clunky to be a turn feels car, and too unrefined to be a grand tourer.
It's like the "master of nothing" position is better filled by the 370z.
