It's not as common see a ford lowrider, it's even less common to see eurpopean lowrider cars.

Because THE lowrider car is a 64 Chevy Impala?

Also, American landyachts are big, look shiny, have plenty of room for the hydraulics, have no handling to ruin, and are so solidly built you can attach whatever to them without killing fuel economy because there isn't any to speak of anyway.
So what if the chassis gives way when it bounces? Just have Javier weld it up again. Who cares if that's 'unsafe', they had no safety to speak of anyway.

Otherwise, you know what you get when you lower a hatchback to ridiculous levels? Stance. That's what.

Also, you just don't see many Ford landyachts. It's always a Chevy or a Caddy.

TL;DR:
Because GM made cars that were big, shiny, and shitty enough to ruin without fucking up the car any worse.
