First of all having 2 cars means they both last longer, your main car will be usable for longer, if you live in a place with real winter your summer car won't be restricted in terms of ride height, rwd, etc.
Other retard drivers sliding around the roads hitting your shitbox won't matter as much when it costs 500 instead of 15000+.
Like It literally makes sense in every way other than driveway space, money, and ..... just no interest in your main car I guess.

I have a dedicated winter car because I dont want my baby in the salt.
While I can slap on some winter tires on it, I would need to raise the ride height. Dont feel like fucking with that.
And I bought myself an all trac, and have it on winter tires. I do not get stuck. I can drive through an unplowed alley/street with ease.
I also pull other cars out of ditches. did 6 last year.
