I lve ans NYC and would like to ride a standard or a naked.
Before I decided this, is as looking for a standard that I can turn into a State Route machine based on an old standard . Except now that I broke up with my girlfriend (who didn't like bikes or me riding them) i want a bike I can put a qt3.1 4 on the back and still have fun.
My current bike is a VFR750F. I'l was thinking about getting a Superhawk 996, but then I looked into the Kawasaki ZRX1100/1200, Suzuki's 1250 Bandit (Hella simple air-cooled engine, that's a nice plus I think), Honda 919 and 599, and the old school Kawasaki Zeypher (?) Series.
All have their pros and cons. I'd love to get something that's fuel injected for once.
Do any of you have any input or suggestions, /dbt/?

I currently ride a Ninja 250 and am considering a GSXR as my next bike, either a 600 or 750.
My question is: what kind of meme maintenance does the GSXR line require? Every brand/model has their own unique list of shit that needs to be done. For example, Honda CBRs all have to have the cam chain tensioners replaced after 10k miles etc... so I am just trying to figure out what I'll need for a GSXR

Check forums and do the big shit before it actually happens.
Despite all the memes about it, I spent a lot of time fixing things on my bike before they broke such as:

Aluminum blades now
>Radiator support bracket to keep radiator from being broken
Got this along with a brand new radiator after that issue happened. Cost $800 to replace. Bracket was $25 and could've EASILY prevented the issue. Pic fucking related

OEM one has an issue where the bearing shits itself and the rear wheel locks up. New one was $600 and is installed.
For a bike like a GSXR 99% of the issues are probably documented and solved. Check into that shit, see what's going to fail, and prevent the first failure to save yourself some cash.
