I work in the motorcycle industry so my job was waiting for me when I got back.
I like the bike too much. Something about her and I is right because we gel together perfectly. I have an FZ1 that I used initially when I got back from recovery because the track people asked me not to bring another ZX14 to the track but I never felt right on it, something was just off despite it being the "better" bike for this sort of thing. It is much more a sports bike than a Busa is though.

Highsided after trying to recover a lowside on corner exit. The reason I lost the rear and started to lowside is because the 2006 ZX14 has a known ECU error where the bike completely opens the throttle for a split second when passing 8k. I wasn't asking for full throttle then but I got it and with the Pilot Road 4 tires I was using at the time it was too much for me to compensate for. I pulled it back from a lowside but didn't catch it till it spun the over way and almost saved that even but the tires regripped and up I went at over 80mph(I know I entered the corner at 100 so I might have shaved some off by the apex).
It is neither a track monster, as it is completely overkill for that environment for the average rider) or a roadworthy bike(because there is no reason for this bike to be street legal at all).
My insurance covers trackdays as long as it is not competitive.
