The next meets will happen at Marque 23 (where Dave n busters and Edwards theater is) from now on since it's a nice place, loads of parking spots, near the highway, several places to eat too.
We are thinking to do the next meet on July 15th or so, just a thought so far.

I have 538 reference photos of the whataburgerring for building the track in blender for AC, but its going to be a pain in the ass to stitch them into workable segments manually. Don't those need a HAM radio license? Yeah, I know most HAM gear is sold to anyone who ponies up the cash, so you can get 480Mhz and 20meter band gear too and simply use it without license.
But amateur HAM radio is dead and it won't be long before the last of their frequency bands are taken away from them and sold off to corporations.

Some people might have installed apps that phone home a lot. Google Play uses up a lot of my CPU time doing who knows what. I don't have a bandwidth breakdown though.

It's not the FCC that watches (they don't). It's the jealous angry HAMs (what few there are). One of their main activities is not emergency preparedness, but transmitter hunts where they try to triangulate on a non-moving transmission. Since you are moving, there is no way you will be found. If if they appear, put the radio away and never take it out. They cannot search you. Never admit anything to them as they are jealous hobbyists that will lie to you or say anything in order to get you to admit you were using gear without a license test.
Amateur Radio's time has come and gone. Gear is no longer available only to the elite who could afford the large amount of money to buy it and the knowledge to maintain it (vacuum tubes). Ever since the age of vacuum tubes, the HAM frequency spectrum has been whittled away through the transistor age, the integrated circuit age, and now the SMT age.
HAMs are the dinosaurs that don't know they are dead yet.
