This will be the biggest meet ever, I've been seeing numerous posters and the mini meets have helped from threads dying out. There will be a roll call pretty soon, so watch for that.
The plan is to meet up at Happy Teahouse @8pm on Friday the 17th. Chill out for a few bit and then move out from there. A lot needs to be discussed to what to do after we do the circuit. Mention some ideas, there has been some talk of a movie or Dave & Busters, but that might be for mini meets.
I'll be posting a straw poll soon, so far the according to the threads there seems to a be a vote for the Livinginston Circuit or Dagumi Circuit (Brazos). What other tracks/ideas do ya'll have in mind?

Highway 6 re-opening is a good sign, it means we won't have high traffic in many areas near it and also that the weather is clearing up. The forecast for next Friday is mostly sunny. It sure as hell gonna be hot, but at least it's not going to be raining. The temperature right now is going higher and it'll keep doing that for a while, it's about to get a pain in the ass to move outside.

That's because of how the community has formed itself to become, with the ridiculous voting system you can't even have a discussion there because will just attack your comments and since they know who you are they will downvote things you post in the future as well. Basically what happens is a norm starts to create, that the minority becomes a majority. Most people don't have a say in things but since very few people might, together they make sure other feels the same way. One of the reasons why every single comment is a pun or a overly used joke, to keep people happy and what not. This attracts a certain kind of breed, someone who just doesn't have a strong opinion about themselves and follows others. Obviously not all subreddits are like that, but most of them are and so are their users. Now there is something like that on 4chan as well, how people might just go with the majority but at least you still have a voice. Since their is no identity linked to that voice, you can say whatever you want.

I used to live in Florida, and I went to both the r/guns meetup and /k/ meet. The r/guns was extremely quiet, and a few people were spouting the same shit that you'd see on r/guns. I even had an old Kimber (pre-MIM), and some faggot remarked that is was "a piece of shit".
The Space Coast /k/ meet was just a bunch of dudes wanting to have fun. We didn't care what guns people had, what body type they were, or where they were from. All that mattered is that they have fun and be cool.

I've been on reddit for a few years now, the quality went down about 4 years ago. Back then I used to be more on reddit than 4chan just because it wasn't as popular and this would lead to having a better discussion with people there. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but after certain AMAs the popularity of the site increased exponentially, especially after the Obama AMA. I had a feeling this would come, so I unsubscribed to every subreddit and only go there to check out maybe 10 or 12 subreddits, usually lurking though. Similarly, it has also happened on 4chan, boards such as /b, /fa, /r9k, and /vg but it's still not as much as the change in reddit. I guess people who are focused on having a reputation and internet points will lean towards reddit and now that is has become a website for "MEMES" everyone will go to it. The Mazda 6 is the best cheapest option. The CT is the lowest tier Lexus you can get, getting all the gadgets with a nice ride and comfort quality. The canyon might be a very practical vehicle depending on what you do and is very spacious, for some spacious tends to be more comfy especially if you're a fat fuck.
If you think the Canyon is more comfortable for you and you're gonna daily drive it, perhaps that's a better option. The CT is not a bad choice in terms of MPGs and reliability.

I'm a fatty with a broken ass. The Mazda 6 was a bit difficult to get out of, but it overall felt the best for handling and general ride quality. The CT felt good, was a little easier to get out of, but it also felt very anemic. I don't drive fast anyways, but I'd at least like to be able to accelerate when need be. The interior das a bit more features than the 6. The Canyon rode softer than the CT, both the I4 and V6 engines had a decent amount of power behind them. The Canyon was by far the easiest getting in and out and blend of comfort. But it's also $3-$10k more expensive depending on what model I decide. The All-Terain had the best interior for comfort and room.
I'm at an impasse. They're all good vehicles from all the research I've looked, but they all are very different in many respects.

With my back the way it is, no. It used to be, but I care about improving my health than beating by back/butt while driving.

Just some perspective. I originally was going to get an S2k, MR2, FiST/FoST but I'm now looking at boring grandpa cars, commuter cars, and trucks because of how they sit and how they ride.
Once I get better in a few years and out of college, I'll buy something fun. For now, comfort, reliability, and utility.

With reliability in mind, you can go for a used 2013 GS 350 or or 2010 LS 460, good power overall, 300+, RWD, great comfort. The seats are actually have a lot of space surprisingly. The trunk space won't be as big as the canyon's but for a sedan it's actually quite big and the seats are 4, or 5 with a fairly skinny person in the middle. The MPG is not that great in the city (19) but does fairly well on the highway (28). I would lean more to the GS because it's a mix of luxury and sportiness. Both cars could be found in between the 28-35k range.
Other options can be such as the Maxima, Avalon, Explorer, 4Runner, Pilot, or Tahoe. Those are all fairly well vehicles, good space, decent MPGs and some of them are exceptionally reliable than others.

There are a lot of things to blame, the DPS pretty much lets anyone pass for the driver's license in some areas and is actually racially biased, especially in the poorer areas. Another thing is that people don't bother correcting what other driver's do, like if they cut in lane or something they just let them either because they are used to it or they can't give a shit about it. Since things like that are becoming a norm, you'll find situations where accidents happen more often thus slowing down traffic and increasing aggressive drivers. I don't understand why people can't just fucking drive calmly and wait for their turn. Switching from lane to lane is not going to make you go any faster, it just makes you not only waste time but slows down at least two lanes at the same time. Also another thing that really pisses me off is stop and go traffic, drivers will drive full speed and then brake right before the traffic stops, this causes the person behind you to brake hard and the chain keeps going on. If the person would have just slowed down instead of braking suddenly, there would have been a gradual slow down or traffic instead, causing people to become slow and not stop. Once your vehicle is stop you have to go back again to acceleration and that wastes a couple of seconds for you, but in a traffic chain those seconds add up real fast.
Now as for the aggression of drivers, all that I mentioned above is related to that, but a few asshole drivers can ruin someone's day causing them to become asshole drivers as well. Nobody gives a shit about others on the road. I wish there was something to be done about this..
