I hace a citroenBX with stock audio setup but i modified the radio itself so when a cassette with no music recorded on it it switches over to Bluetooth mode and plays music off my phone.
Pretty cool but sound quality is shit, can I got in new speakers and expect it to be any better? I I add a poweramp or something? Also the radio unit has some background feedback, can I fix that?

is it just noise ? allot of little issues can come up around signal to noise ratio and electrical interference
but I don't think them the fault of the amp so much as an error installation that can take time to track down

pretty much allows the output intended for speakers to be used as pre amp signal
you may even want to up-mix the output to four channels or 4.1 for extra immersion and range extension with more types of speaker
most easy with the line converter as after that the 2 channel signal could be doubled with an rca audio splitter (with small drop in signal power but)
I doubt many amps have up mixing built in as its rarely called for and expected to be dealt with by the head unit or eq
in general people hear treble more from the front and mid from the side where as sub bass <300 hz has less direction but needs lots of room to propagate
hence why you have tweeters up front mids in the door panel and subs and 6x9 further back in the car

We need to find a stereo unit that doesn't look ricey as fuck. A unit we can recommend consistently because it's overall great but more importantly affordable. Kinda like the M50 for headphones and the Nexus for smartphones.

Ideally, get one of those adapters for your factory harness so you don't cut up all your cables. Makes it much better if you want to sell the car later and reinstall the original stereo. Aside from that, solder, use heatshrink tubing, and keep it clean.
