Unless you buy the expensive interier versions, it's going to fall apart and rattle. That being said, besides VANOS seals in the upper end models and rust in the water outlets, it's pretty reliable as long as you follow the user's manual maintenance section religiously. 450K euromiles in my 320i, 100K of it me, only had to change the rubber air intake(for fucking 30€, fuck you BMW, equivalent on a Skoda is like 5€¨)
