I do all my own wrenching there bud. Even with doing my own work she's still pricy as fuck. Anyways, I've only taken it to a shop once and that was for replacing the wiring harness from the tcu to the tranny. Shit, it was only an 8 year old car when I got it, put about 30000 miles on it so far, if that tells you how much I drive it. More of a back up car when I'm working on the others. Wish it was a manual but that was a stipulation from the wife. I get what I want as long as she can drive it too...

There are lots of V70s (not V70Rs, unfortunately) along with other older Volvo wagons posted on CL in my area.
I'm considering getting one, but most are FWD and automatic.
I also heard the turning radius is terrible, and that they handle like boats. Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of being a wagon?
