Was gonna make a long post about how I'm looking forward to buying a cbr later this month with money I don't have but then suddenly I got express translation gigs and had to work for 4 more hours after a 9 hour shift at my day job. Looks like it's gon b pic related, a 250 after all. The noob guide says 250's aren't so good on highways, but I read this one gets 170kmh max, more than enough for the highway. Is there anything I'm missing?
On that note, classified says it "fell off the stand once, minor cosmetic damage". Is there any way at all to verify this is true and it was not say crashed hardcore? I know very little about anything, and my strategy so far is to be 100% real with the seller and ask him if some undisclosed fault will kill me and guarantee him a lifetime of haunting.

I doubt you'd be able to get more than 150km/h out of one of those, and that's without taking into account wind, hills etc.
When they say they're bad on the highway it's moreso that you're wringing the engine out to do more than 70mph which gets old after a while.
It might be able to do highway speeds, but whether or not it does it comfortably is a different thing.
Plus single cylinder engines vibrate a lot, which will be annoying on long trips.
Look for any scratches and have a squiz at the length, depth and direction of them. The longer/deeper the scratch/mark, the faster the bike would have have to hit the ground to inflict.
