Those are still both conversions. Once you go custom, you can't generalize about things anymore. You can have a DR650 supermoto next to a KX500 supermoto, they're both just conversions, the spectrum is too wide to be more specific than that.

It's not just about revs though. Supermotos generally have geometry optimized for low speed handling so it ends up being terrible on the highway

Stripped as in the bolt spins and doesn't tighten or stripped as in you've only started to mangle the threads (ie bolt starts turning and stops or gets tight)
If its the later buy a thread chaser and clean it up.
If it spins you need to heli-coil or do an insert.

The WR250x will do 90 all day no problem. Ive done it. Also first valve adjustmrnt is like 18k. Its a 250cc thumper its about as maintenance free as it gets. Hell my lawnmower requires more maintenance than any of my vehicles.
