Technically I bought one while they were new back in 2012. I needed something practical for my carpool group that was better in gas than my GX. If you're up for a longer drive I'd suggest you take 46 towards Paso Robles all the way to the coast and then take 1 north. Driving north on 1 in the morning is probably the most scenic and undisturbed drives in California. The touge gets pretty good closer to Monterey but if you're going with other people, they would probably appreciate and the great stopping points along the way. Some of the best places to stop are along Hurst castle to look at all the Zebras and then across the street if there are any sea lions. Towards Big Sur there are a million great vista points. If you haven't done this drive before I think you definitely need to do it at least once in your life. It's worth the extra gas money and leaving the house a little earlier.
