I mean there are two camps when it comes to adding power in a stock 1uz and half of us say omg it's shit past 1994 when they got thinner rods and the other half say it's a bulletproof engine no matter what year/trim. 13Bs at 500HP need some sort of aux injection (water/meth) and probably should be run on race gas as extra insurance. They are tuned within an inch of their lives.
