No idea whats causing it specifically, I'm sure money is leaving one way or another. Revitalizing areas only happens when gang presence and violent crime decreases. From what I've seen the area has its fair share of gangbangers out rambling about at all hours of the day. That kind of thing scares families away, then houses become harder to sell, businesses suffer, and the entire community declines over a few years.
It really is a shame because the white sand beaches are so pretty, places like the Happy Pig cafe and the Fish House are incredible to eat at. Down town is still picturesque and gorgeous at night. Everything around the edges is just drying up and crumbling away.

DBT pls help
I just got back after being out of the country for 3 months, bike ran fine when I left.
First, the battery was dead and wouldn't take a charge but after replacing it the bike wouldn't start, bumping it or otherwise but ran fine on easystart.
I unplugged the fuel line at the tank and used a syringe to put some pressure on it and the bike now starts fine and happily ticks over.
The problem is any throttle and it cuts out. Doesn't matter if its hot or cold, I have left it ticking over for 20 minutes and the moment you give it any throttle it cuts out. With the choke on it can handle a tiny bit but at 3-4k revs it will still cut out.
It's an EN 125, not sure what to do next.

In the UK people wearing full gear is more common but there are two guys (one who rides an R1, the other a Panigale) who do it in trackies and T-shirts.

I'm thinking about getting a new (used) bike, something fairly light, a little sporty, but also a practical all rounder, maybe something I could take to a track, but I've never gone before. So far I seem to be gravitating towards the same bikes I was looking at 10 years ago, SV650 and Ninja 650. Also needs a low seat height. It's that or just getting a 250 again. Or a clownbike.
Currently, 600lb bike just feels like a lot of metal to haul around for commuting since I so rarely ride on freeways, and the dry clutch is slightly annoying in traffic, especially if I want to pop into N, and it's just getting kind of old.

I like actual manuals. My dad has a vintage Suzukimatic and a Aprilia automatic, so I have some experience with autos.
The thing with dry clutch is if you pop it into neutral, you have you feather the clutch to get things spinning to shift into first. Something I don't remember having to do with wet clutches. They're also touchier and glaze over, and I live on a hill and have to do uphill starts frequently.
I have no problem handling the clutch, it's just a slight annoyance. I don't do the long distance touring dry clutches are optimized for.
