I need to be put on the new picture; 95 Accord thanks based hg threads

Hey I'm having some issues with my accord and saw this thread before the qtddtot. My car is having difficulties starting, I'll turn the key and nothing will happen, not even a click so it's not my battery. It's happened a couple of times and everytime I've just wiggled/tightened my terminals and it started up but today it wasn't starting at all. I even pushed it up to speed and tried to pop the clutch multiple times but it didn't start. I was maybe thinking my starters bad but I would imagine that popping the clutch ignored the starter. Any info on what it could be and how to diagnose it further would be awesome.

TlDr : Car won't start and there's no click, what do.

Whats up guys got a question here ive got a 2010 accord thats acting a bit strange when at highways speeds. If i give it an agressive amount of throttle the car starts to shake and i mean not sinking the pedal to the florr just to try to pass a slowish car ya know but i just did an alignment and i balanced my tires but the problem presists what could be wrong?

Getting a popping sound from the suspension. Annoying af. Looked over everything and everything is mounted and torqued correctly, but I still get the popping sound and its gradually getting worse. Also, the car seems to "wander" or feel like it's trying to drift in multiple directions at once when driving. I'm thinking LCA bushings? They look pretty worn out

>>
>>14878396
No, I thought it was that too, but I don't necessarily have the problem only when turning and the axle itself looks fine. Basically I get the popping noise whenever I take off in first, begin to drive in reverse, or just drive slowly it happens when I go over bumps. Happens when I turn, but also when I'm going straight

/hg/ im the proud owner of a 96 integra ls. Recently Ive gotten an incorrect evap flow code on my car. Ive cleaned out the line from the intake to the charcoal cannister and put a bike fuel filter in ther to keep it from getting as bad again. Then after that didnt work i put a junkyard evap purge control solenoid on the car. It came back on. Whats the next step to fix this? Removing the charcoal cannister and replacing it or is there something else i might be missing. Also can you fix the cannister or do you need a new one?
>>
>>14881121
Try using a brand new solenoid instead. Chances are the junkyard solenoid a shit.
>>
>>14881249
Have you had any success cleaning them. I went with a junkyard one because it was a quarter of the price and I saw people talking about. Cleaning them. So now i have a spare to plug up the hole until I fix it or buy a new one.
>>
>>14878321
Thanks anon ill be sure to do that i havent cjanged the fluid since i got the car 2 years ago when i got the car it had 98k now its got 121k
>>
>>14881342
I haven't heard about cleaning them. All I know is to replace them. If that doesn't work, it can also be one of the vacuum lines.

I want to feel like a real driver so I tried using the sport shift this morning in my '03 TL-S and while I think I upshifted on par with the computer, downshifting was jerky and slowed the car to a crawl. Using my vast intellect I determined that I probably shouldn't do that. If anyone has any experience with a tiptronic (I think) or sequential shifter, do I need to downshift manually or will the car handle the downshifting and I get to have fun just pushing up?
>Just keep it in auto or drive a manual
I'm just getting interested in /o/ and I can't afford a new car atm
>>
>>14882927
Nope. It was rusted as fuck, replaced the rusted panel, sanded the whole underside, coated the inside of the beams with anti corrosion paint, then sanded and primed the whole underside. It should be back on the road by next month. It was all done on budget in my garage hence the wooden logs supporting the body, yeah uni tuition is a fucking nightmare when it comes to money left for car projects...

Don't try to drive spiritedly on the auto Honda's. They're very fragile. That being said, when it comes to down shifting make sure it's below 1.5krpm. It's even better if you just leave it in drive for reliability purposes. Make sure you change the trans fluid every 30k miles or your trans will shit the bed sooner with burnt trans fluid.
>>
>>14883113
Truth be told my dad has an old 03' Accord Auto. To be fair for everyday driving it's one of the best auto's out there. Downshifts the second you need more acceleration. That being said it's still slow as fuck off the line. Like 4 full seconds slower than the manual.

>>
>>14883113
How fragile are we talking? I've read nonstop that the 99-03 TLs have notorious transmission problems but after 13 years I'd think that any transmission problems would have made themselves apparent. If I like driving aggressively, should I invest in a manual in a few years down the line? Would a 3rd gen TL fit this purpose?

Was doing a nice cruise with my friend and after a bunch of hektik driving my clutch pedal got stuck to the floor. Lost a good chunk of fluid for some reason. Topped it back off and it hasn't dropped at all since then. What could cause that? Not noticing any leaks.

No no, I did that too, a sip or so of water, probably had about two pints of water per six pack. Right now counting calories, normally I'm at around 2500cal, past few days I've been roughly 1700.
Gone from 230 to 200 the past two months just from cutting out a bottle of whiskey a night and general exercise
>These are rough estimates

Was damn surprised to find out how much calories were in a handle of whiskey, I switched to liquor a few months back because I thought four forties a day was too much.
>Pro-tip it's roughly the same, ~1700cal, just stop drinking.

Also I thought guzzling water after a set was a bad idea?

Yo.

So i managed to fish out the wiring loom from my prelude. It's pretty fucked :(

I have a question for someone with more experience with 5th gen ludes - is the cabin wiring loom the same for the 2.2 and 2.0 models? I have the 2.0 and might only be able to salvage a new loom from a 2.2. Am i gonna have issues?

Previous owner bodged in an aftermarket alarm which resulted with chunks of the OEM wiring loom being spliced to shit.

Longer edition

Alarm was draining battery because of it keeping a relay on.
Decided to remove the aftermarket alarm as it didn't work as an alarm properly.
Car electrics worked but ignition didn't fire. Just the ignition, starter worked etc.
Found that the door wiring loom was not even remotely stock and there were other random parts and an additional relay (the culprit of the draining & the ignition not working)
Parts of the wiring loom have been spliced in ways i can't figure out why/how to fix it (3 wires being spliced to 1, chunks missing)

I bought mine for 2400 but the average asking price was 5000, they're fun car you need to learn how to keep momentum to keep your speed up though if you're tracking. I had a 24mm rear sway on mine among i/h/e+tune and a-spec suspension and I could make it rotate pretty easily. Fun car overall mine got totalled this year by a truck

It has one of the stiffest honda bodies, with rear independent suspension. Mine handled really well after the sway bar upgrade it was like driving my buddies eg but with a bigger engine. All in all tho it really needs a type s engine or tsx to open the car up. Due to the suspension set up you can't get slammed out coils due to the suspension geometry but can get exceptional track ready handling from the vehicle

Finally did the whole song
o/hg o/hg
All the real ricers are in o/hg
All the real ricers are in o/hg
o/hg o/hg
All the real ricers are in o/hg
o/hg

Everybody know I race that hunk of shit
Shit that make you race for nothing shit
Shit that make you hop out your seat and race your brother shit
Especially when Drop drop the beat
I drop my clutch like my nuts dropped out of my briefs
Jump in the whip, then shatter every ricer's dream
They jump in a sauna because I killed their self-esteem
That's my car, you should ride and leave
like Anon when he pulled out his wire sleeves
I go in Honda General and feel like a nerd
cause I'm the only nigga there not smoking no herb
You telling me the kush make you drive on level four?
I'm on five, you saying I can level more?
In /hg/, my homies thought I was smoking stress
Didn't know my car's low cause of suspension defects
I stimulate my mind every time I think about the end of time
creation of cars and that are mine

[Chorus]
Bet you think that this some fake shit that I wrote
Probably think I'm off the bus or the school bus
I don't even joke, I don't even joke
I don't even joke, I don't even joke
I really appreciate that you share your ride tho
But a ride of my car is the farthest I would go
I don't even joke, I don't even joke
I don't even joke, I don't even joke

Look, nowadays everybody think they big racers
just cause they heard that new vid from K. Tsuchiya
Knowing damn well they can't hit the power
They new booties, they probably need baby powder
My skill shower over your touge for the whole race
forty nights, off the touge a lot of saves
Before you get it twisted like touge ways
My flow worth the earth, that's not to be appraised
Those the type of timees that I'm talking bout
You know, the type of times you bench race about
Copy my lap times on a post when the lap time ends
so all the trolls can post it and bench race with their friends
Brag on me like my car's bout to win
Somehow, some way, and I don't care when
I might hit the track once a month
I'll let your car fail, not the hastiest

[Chorus]

Uhh, I'll take you back to the ninth grade
when Johnny raced with me for four days
That's my nigga, he a street nigga
Probably in your hood hooning in yo street nigga
But anyway, I think it's royal purple
Told me don't forget it because it'll hurt you
I didn't listen, I was burning that 1040 grade
Swear to God a nigga needs some honda wishes
There was some Verver trip, posted drunk word
The same fag I start writing to a fucking monster
I'm Frankenstein every time this motherfucker ponders

Just underline every letter
Engine code B-1-8-C, letting it flat out
like a tire with slow leaks, and what you bout?
Nothing huh? Am I a queer cause I race them queers?
Is my tape too tight to hit the car? Yeah

[Chorus]

[(screwed)]
O/HG O/HG
All the real ricers are in o/hg
All the real ricers are in o/hg (Bitch I'm blowed!)
O/HG O/HG (Bitch I'm blowed!)
All the real ricers are in o/hg
All the real ricers are in o/hg

Yeah those rotor screws are the softest malleable metal available it doesn't help that they get so hot under operation that they start to fuse to the inside of the rotor housing and the break hub. I took me 4 hours to take off each one with a impact driver and a 5lb sledge.

None in the near future. Eventually, when I can save up enough, I'm going to slap a new exhaust on there. Nothing too loud, but something nicer than stock. There's also a really annoying rattling on the underside of the car that I can't quite figure out. But aside from that, I've done basically everything I can do to keep it nice and fresh.

>threw the incompatible brake pads into the UPS box shortly before 5PM
>Amazon has already issued the refund

Based Amazon. Just gotta order the Integra GSR brake pads and fresh hardware to go with it. Rotor still looks good too.

Also fuck tonight's shift at work. Just about everyone I work with is fucking retarded.

Basically my boss hires anybody and anybody that walks in.

>got a dyke working make table
>she's fucking awful at it and I lost count how many orders were done wrong
>got a loud ass black chick who's also new
>she isn't that bad really but we were busy as fuck and she couldn't keep up at the cut table
>deliveries late as fuck constantly (except for mine because eurobeat and small four banger)
>almost every phone call I take is some fucker complaining that their order is wrong or not there yet
>get cussed out by some guy that was mad his order wasn't there yet after I told him the assigned driver was leaving with it now (most of the waiting is the people in the kitchen)

The whole crew is weird as fuck that I look like a normie in comparison. I can do another greentext describing them.

>dyke - literal convicted felon who has a parole officer visit like every month. always acting weird as fuck and is a terrible car passenger. gets dizzy a lot to the point where I have to pull over until she feels better. kept freaking the fuck out tonight because she drank a little over half a Redline energy drink. still doesn't know how to answer phones for orders.
>autistic "trans" guy - first started working at the Hut in the fucking 80's or some shit. has full blown legit autism and is known to throw fits like a child even though he's like 47 years old. has the hobby of crossdressing and i just found out yesterday his "woman" name is Ginger because he likes to talk to himself louder than he thinks saying "c-c-c-call me Ginger". always asks the new female employees if they have any women's clothing he can have. also called my Hawaiian boss a nigger one night and got away with it. He legit called himself transgender tonight.

The others aren't as crazy but still annoying as fuck.

>the vet - took shrapnel to his head so his short term memory is fucked up. ALWAYS forgetting parts of his orders and tagging out on the wrong ones
>the fighter - the guy with the Mitsubishi 3000GT that I posted a few times. Always running bad in some way because legendary unreliability. hobby is MMA fighting because cauliflower ears. Probably the coolest co-worker no real complaints about him.
>the cop - I drove his 9th gen Civic that one night. works maybe once a week.
>loud black chick - speaks her mind a shit ton and makes sure everybody knows
>that riced corolla guy - thought my hatch was RWD. rode shotgun in his car and the rice is real. red "carbon fiber" stickers all over the dash and an ebay steering wheel. good employee though so works for me.
>the lazy fuck - always fucking bitching. loves to sneak outside to smoke then hides in the bathroom. bitches about his low hours and no tips.

>me - some fucking nerd that likes his Civic way too much. always working on it but is always up for dem tips.

Hi hondafags. If any of you own a car with acura's SH-AWD, could you comment on your experience with it? How does it handle twisties, snow, and hektik skids? Also do you like it for a comfy, reliable, but peppy daily?
