Please, only if you're a no wrench little bitch. These bikes have problems with the input shaft splines, I installed a small batch custom clutch spacer for a more complete spline engagement. Probably open it back up next winter to rebuild the slave cylinder and re-lube.

I don't know man.
I'm aching from training yesterday. My shins are quite brittle.

I'm enjoying the start of riding season. It's warmer and you're less lonely on the roads.

Scraping both footpegs now.

Waiting for a sena Bluetooth gopro mic adapter thing to arrive through the post so I can start vlogging.

Gonna book a test ride for a shadow either today or tomorrow.

I had a shower yesterday.

I have no lunch that I brought with me for work which sucks :(

I think that's it.
Ordinary pederest stuff

Wuu bby?
>>
>>14690598
RVF400s, VFR400s and CBR400RR blow the CB400SF away in my opinion. Any of those would be a great upgrade. Just worth noting than parts for the RVF400 and VFR400 can be awkward. There's tons of HRC stuff around but it's expensive and OEM parts are scarce.

Also worth noting you'll need to check rego papers on each individual bike in Victoria. For some reason some (individual bikes) don't have LAMS approval.
>>
>>14690603
The bike has failed the moment you needed to open it up to fix a major design flaw you turd.
>>
>>14690614
>I had a shower yesterday.
You go steady now, we're not looking to get to crazy around here.

>Wuu bby?
Just going to work today, weather's not great. I'm finding it hard to go riding because I have to walk past my VFR and get on my 125 if I'm to go out, and that just hurts too much mayne.

It's a V4 yeah. Not particularly comfortable, the riding position is very aggressive, kind of feels like you're about to tip over the front wheel. Very tourqey and it gets somewhat of a power band at 11k rpm+, very exciting. I love it already.

>did anyone here start on a Ninjette?

>How did you like it?
It's alright, haven't got much else to compare it to.
>Did you really grow bored of it in two days?
No, I didn't. Took me about six months before I started wanting something faster.

Roughly two years and 20k kms later and I still have it. A new bike is in the pipeline but for the moment I'm satisfied enough with it, despite the things I don't like about it (lolnopower, general vibrations through the footpegs, cruising at ~9k rpm at 70mph, low screen etc).

Any time I get particularly bored of it I take to a twisty road and give it a good hammering, so imo as long as you've got reasonably twisty roads around you you'd be fine.

they are not half bad, comparable to riding a ninja 650, if anything more comfortable (for me atleast) than the ninja and more powerful plus dat v twin sounds amazing.

the problem is dbt compares them to things like the ninja 636 when thats not its competition.

>Absolutely not, the only way you'd get bored of it in two says would be if you solely ride on straight roads.
Ninja 250' have a reputation for being an excellent starter bike for a good reason, they're cheap and easy to operate and good fun. Despite what dick-swingers will say 250 sport and sport-standards are great fun in twisties; you can actually ride the bike towards it's limit in a safe and fun way, you can't do this on a 600 or 1000 supersport on public roads.
I'm 6'1" ~90kg and owned my Ninjette for just over a year, granted by the end of the year I was well and truly ready for a larger bike but as far as a starter bikes go they're right up there.
Pic related was mine.

Wouldn't it be safer to ride the same speed as you're going on a ninja 250 but on a 600 as you'd be further away from the limit?

Something that i always wondered was like, with so many /dbt/s, how do you sleep? Or do you just hope there was no conversation you wanted to contribute to while you were away? Do people say goodnight?
>>
>>14690965
"The limit" is realistically a long way off on either bike when you're riding on the road. What I'm trying to say is if you're riding through twistie roads on a Ninjette around the 80-120kph mark then you'll feel like you're actually stretching the legs of the bike and having fun without actually riding at dangerous speeds. On something significantly more powerful like a 600-1000 you'll likely be riding 150-200kph to get that same feel of the bike being stretched, going those speeds on public roads could easily get you killed if something goes awry.
>>
>>14691002
no sleep, just dbt and ride bikes.

Americans commonly go around shitting their pants.

They don't bother to clean it up because in america shitting your pants is such an ordinary every day thing because of their poor diet consisting of high fat, high sugar food and high fructose corn syrup based drinks.

Its viewed as completely normal to walk around in public having visibly shit your pants and stinking of shit.
