Two strokes ride completely differently than a four stroke. If the power gets out of hand give it full throttle. This causes the unburned gas and oil in the exhaust's expansion chamber to reverberate back into the cylinder which will make it run rich and relax the hit of power you get as you hit the powerband. I know it sounds counter intuitive, but big burst of throttle = smoother more controllable power.

Nah m8 I do all my own work. Apparently they're fucking bulletproof aside from the radiators, and I already fabricated a mount for it to keep the cracking issue from happening. Now I'm just waiting for the rad fan to melt so I can replace it with something metal, then it'll be all good.
As far as parts go there are some special snowflake bits that cost a good chunk, but the rest of the stuff is pretty easy to replace. Only real issue is that 10W60 is expensive as all fucking hell and that's what the bike takes, probably because it doesn't have an oil cooler anywhere I can see.
I do fucking hate the matte color though. There's tons of scratches that drive me up the wall. It's getting repainted soon™

Well if you have good clutch control and play it safe you'll probably have no problems on the GPZ. My advice is to get something with closer to 20hp but I don't know how good you are. There are more things to worry about on a bike than speed though.
