It can mean pretty much anything. Either trying to get a broken car to work, trying to fix some part or aspect that's broken, doing preventative maintenance / replacement, cleaning/detailing, adding something new to the car, the list goes on and on. Imo, anything that "betters" the car can be defined as work, from making it look nicer to making it perform better to increasing its value to making it worth more to yourself personally.

Took wife to the zoo in the Pontiac today now that's it's fixed up and running. I've put 200 miles on it without a hitch. For those who saw the thread about it about a week ago the problem turned out to be some wiring harnesses that were weathered and we're grounding on the metal chasis causing it to short out and kill the engine. Wire, heat shrink and some new relays later it's all good.
Chilled with the retron5 all day. We played some vidya and snuggled. I suffered through a Markiplier video. Went and got dinner drinks and sushi, was burdy chill. didn't finish the dd yesterday so we had to take my slammed hilux.
