As you can see in that video, 30sec or so in they show under the 4g eclipse and the awd set up.
Now I know it's easy for eclipse owners, they just pull from an Evo and go. But if I wanted to convert my 2009 civic Si to awd is there a platform that I can use that will bolt right in?
Video related is what I'd like to do.

Yeah I don't really know but I need it to be.
To be honest it's not my car it's my moms technically. But I figured if it was a direct bolt on I could do it in a day and she wouldn't notice. She won't let me work on the car but I use it too. I'm tired of being on car forums and feeling like shit cause I drive a fwd car. So if I can swap it cheap and bolt it right in I'd be able to say I drive an awd car and get some respect. Plus I could launch better and mom would be safer driving in the winter. Only see pluses really other than my mom can't find out.

I've looked into this, and there are direct bolt in AWD swaps for Civic's, but only for 1988-2005 cars. And it also depends on which engine you're using.
The big part you NEED are the rear trailing arms from a 1988-1991 Civic Wagon RT4WD. No matter which Civic year in the range from 1988-2005, you need those parts.
If you use a D-series engine, you need the transmission from the 88-91 Civic Wagon RT4WD.
If you use the B-series engine, you need the transmission from a first generation Honda CR-V.
If you use the K-series engine (only for 2001-2005 Civics BTW), you need the 5 speed manual from an AWD second gen CR-V.
The rear diff and most of the rear suspension can be grabbed from an appropriate generation CR-V.

i don't really know too much but:
awd swaps are lots of fabricating.... try search like mirage to evo awd conversion or something to get an idea
you have to accomodate for the space that awd needs.. so people will usually take a floorpan from another car and put that in or fabricate a tunnel and be to be able to mount the drivetrain which is more stuff too... if you swap in another floorpan from another car then you don't, but it depends on the car.
theres more to that but that's just the getting it to actually fit
fwd cars aren't bad either. fwd hatches can beat awd/rwd in same classes in high level racing. it's not 'desirable' to have fwd, but it doesn't mean a fwd driver can't beat a rwd/awd driver.

It's like I want to participate it talking about cars but as soon as someone says "what do you drive" and I mention civic all I get is made fun of because of fwd. I don't have many friends and would like to get into cars but I can't even talk about cars here because I'm treated like an outcast.
I just thought it was the main pipe running up the car in the video that made it awd. Like I said I don't know much, but I understand it's much more involved now. I'm sorry for bringing up a bad idea. I'm sorry I can't contribute more or be a respected member. One day I'll have the funds to buy a rwd car but right now I just can't. From what I've found, they did, but it was a D15 Ferio sedan, with increased ground clearance, and was a pretty rare option. Was also an option on JDM 5th gen and JDM 6th gen Civic Ferio sedans
Because those AWD JDM Ferio's were D15 only, they're ungodly slow

The CR-V rides on an AWD Civic platform. I think they have the same ECU too. In theory all you'd need to do is bolt the drive train in place and reset the weight values for the stability control. You might need to have the rear area of the Civics frame modified to accept the CR-V AWD setup though as I think it's fairly bulky.
