My bike has an older halogen light. It's not very powerful.
I'm getting repeatedly owned and almost went off the road a couple of nights ago when I was riding in the dark because I'm running low beams and everyone else is either running bright white cancer leds (prob bmw) or not using their lows.

Buy something to drain the fluid and some brake fuild and you're all set.
Careful with DOT fluids as they're corrosive, they'll strip your paint and burn you if they get in contact with eyes/nose/mouth etc. I recommend you use gloves.
