What's her name, /mu/?
I could be laughed at in a crowd for days for this opinion and still wouldn't feel any different about the album.

I don't know why it took me so long to listen to The Replacements. I listened to Let It Be for the first time yesterday and loved it. Can't wait to listen to Tim and the rest of their stuff.
The replacements aren't on /mu/ nearly enough
Good choice

Let It Be is commonly cited as their best, and it is a phenomenal album. It probably captures the spirit of the band better than any other release.
To my ears, however, the songwriting is just all around tighter on Tim, while still maintaining that energy that made them special. I think song for song it's a better listen, although Unsatisfied is probably their greatest moment.

It tends to jump back and forth between Fun House and Marquee Moon depending on how I'm feeling. Very rarely I go through weird introspective phases where it becomes Close to the Edge.
It's mostly Marquee Moon though. It just encapsulates everything I like about music.
Took so long to finally admit I like it better than pet sounds (but only because pet sounds is also ungodly perfect)
