I'll be frank, they needed more rap. MX is one of the weakest groups vocally and where they shine would be more rap-heavy tracks with vocals meant to support the rap parts. At the least, the rap parts don't feel like afterthoughts on their tracks.
They do need to feature Wonho's vocals more, though. Kihyun's voice is kind of annoying.

I feel like if Woollim was planning to debuted a boy group instead of Lovelyz they wouldn't have sold out. Maybe they were and SM told the to stop.
Its not like SM has creative control over Woollim. They just made sure Infinite didn't tour, have frequent albums, or promote when EXO/Shinee were. So even if Big Hit were bought out by SM their quality wouldn't be badly affected. The only problem would be getting more content from their groups. Big Hit orginally wanted BTS (or what turned into BTS) to be an underground kind of rap group but changed it in the last year to a rap focused idol group. So people in the line up stepped out minus Rap Mon and Suga. They got a taste of that sweet money later on. Why they only have male trainees. To think their CEO came from JYP.

I do like Dean and because of that I was disappointed at the song. If you listen to it and check his stuff it sounds like two different people. The song isn't bad but I expected more and that was my mistake. I should know that she would water him down.
