I mean, I'm not making bangers or four tet tier drumming sequences, and do you even need a compressor if your gear isn't cheap shit? the only situation I sometimes wish I had one is when I want to add some "colour" to a track, but then good luck trying the bazillion compressors out there.....and if you're looking to "master" your tunes on gear, I reckon you need multi-thousand $$ set ups that sprinkle magical compression and exciters and shit to your tunes....

Just reverb and eq, you can route track 8 to be a "master" track all the audio goes through and apply processing there. Every track has 2 fx already though so there really isn't a need to process it additionally.

how do you deal with records like this?
The tune is absolutely huge, but it takes like ten minutes to get to that section and it takes up so much so much space you can't mix it super slowly, besides I don't have the technical ability a Villalobos has, mixing many tunes extremely slowly over one long tune.
And most of the appeal of the tune lies in this build that takes forever.
