Easily explained, I listened to deathcore and emocore as a kid (but not stuff like BVB and Brokencyde) and when I was 14-15 I really liked the melodic parts as they would display some sort of emotional vournability and the beatdowns, drops etc were like the aggressive side of an angsty 14 year old where you imagine you stab people you dislike and kill them

probably more of a question for /noise/, but apparently that general doesn't exist any more.
pic related is one of the coolest fucking things i've ever heard; the drumming is immaculate, the speed is unhindered, the screaming is terrifying, and the noise is amazing.

I understand grindcore is pretty niche, but i'm pretty shocked that more noise-grind doesn't exist. noisecore lacks the structure, grindcore lacks the noise, and powerviolence is too fucking slow.
am I out of luck? am I going to have to record my own album?

It's weird for me, I grew up in a Christian home and the first music I ever heard was praise and worship, and cartoon songs. When I got interested in music around 10 or 12, I was listening to top 40 pop/hip-hop with boy bands and shit like Eminem, DMX, and Nelly
After a few more years I was into skate and punk music with a little bit of hardcore, and nu metal. With nu metal, I started segueing into being a metal fan. After Nu Metal came my introduction to "older" metal, which was Metallica and Megadeth and Liquid Tension Experiment. After having heard some pretty scream-heavy hardcore (and really being into it), at my local Mardel, I came across ZAO and Mortification, and I couldn't get into them. The death metal vocals were super strange to me, and the black metalesque vocals from ZAO were perplexing to me. I didn't even know what I was hearing and it confused me so much that I couldn't concentrate on understanding the music.
The same thing happened with Immolation and Immortal. They were just unlistenable to me and I didn't even know what they were supposed to be, genre-wise.
Eventually I got into Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir because of the imagery and I was basically a fedora before fedoras were a stereotype. Tripp pants
anyways I grew out of that and delved the depths of all metal has to offer, and it still never seems to run dry.
TLDR: I was a white kid that transitioned from rap/pop to metal

Because it doesn't improve or innovative metal at all. It's simply taking outside influences from already shit music genres and adding them to metal that's usually played terribly to begin with.
It's not like it was when punk and metal were influencing one another and constantly improving and innovating from those influences. Post metal is nothing more than a watering down of metal.
