The lead guy Лéтoв Erop (Yegor Letov) had a solo career that was pretty cool. Its pretty much Russian folk punk in the 80/90s

I think you can only really get them sent over from Russia. I think they might sell them from their website, or you could search through Discogs to find them. It's a shame they haven't released a box set of their stuff, because that would make it a lot easier to buy, like how Kino have a box set.
What is the easiest/cheapest way to get GrOb's albums?
> In music, Letov was a big 60's psychedelic/garage rock fan, especially citing Arthur Lee's Love as his favourite band, as well as Texas noise rock band Butthole Surfers, Genesis P-Orridge's Psychic TV, and The Residents. Other notable influences include Sonic Youth, Ramones, The Fall, Dead Kennedys, Swans, Joy Division, Throbbing Gristle, and Einstürzende Neubauten. He also cited … Soviet VIA bands and various folk music as influences…, stating that everything he listens to is to some extent reflected in his music.
Translated from Russian wiki: his favorite genre was '60s US garage rock like The Monks or The Sonics; other influences include Neil Young and pre-Dark Side Pink Floyd.

Strange that we have Grazhdanskaya Oborona threads on 4chan now…
As a Russian, the most ironic thing about GrOb is that their song meanings are perhaps impenetrable to the rest of the world. Mixing the Soviet propaganda/jargon and Russian/Slavic folk culture imagery with punk, general countercultural sentiment and swear words, his lyrics only make sense if you're Russian.
What's more, his psychedelic works, like Pryg-Skok, employ absurdism/deconstruction, writing lyrics that often mention 2-3 unrelated Russian cultural symbols in one verse, along with proverbs and sayings and so on.
Also, Russian folk music is almost unknown in the rest of the world, and Letov refers it heavily in his music. But if you aren't Russian like it—go for it. Just be prepared that you probably won't get a lot of meaning which made Letov's works so popular in the first place.
