this is such a good chart, but i always get a bit irked when confeild is described as being impossible to enjoy - i think it's quite easy, even despite it's sterility, because of how good it is.

Totally bizarre opinion. They've obviously always sounded alike, but Starsailor is perhaps the one Tim album that argues some kinda of vocal disparity between the two. Tim vocals on Starsailor fluctuate around emulating a trombone or a dieing animal (intentionally so, of course). The closest Jeff came to this bizzaro-form of singing is maybe on the second half on Sweetheart, even then it's a stretch.
