In recent memory I got two.
There was this reggae/steppas set which was so ridiculously shit. The selections were cookie cutter and the DJ didn't actually mix, he just faded the tune out, dropped a Jah Shaka siren sample and started up the new tune.
Also, last night there was this one set, which was technically absolutely on point, vinyl only, but the selections were so dull and so shit I couldn't take it.

So I got into /bleeps/ about 3 years ago, when I was already a 25 year old grown-ass man... A bit late, I might say. Started with drum n bass, jungle, then pre 2010's dubstep (Horsepower Productions, Digital Mystikz, El-B, etc), then on to garage overall... problem is it's all old. Most mainstream stuff being made now is house or some subgenre thereof, and it's not that I hate house... it's enjoyable and all when you're at a party and they play some... especially tropical house. But it's not something I can get into enough to listen to on my own time.
Recommend me some good new stuff (labels, artists, mixes/albums/singles, whatever) to listen to... can be any genre, even house (maybe I'm missing out on some lesser-known gems), as long as it's good.
