Thanks bro, it's a Nakamichi Dragon. It's cool because the head detects the audio signal on the tape and aligns itself for a perfect match and makes tape albums sound pretty darn sweet. I don't use it for recording much though, that's what the reel machine is for.

they have us designing a k-8 school in the middle of the slums in north philly, which is pretty cool
the school is really urban-focused when it comes to design exercises/projects, which gives students more opportunity to explore and analyze the city
Drexel is actually internationally known for its co-op/work-study program, I actually have a job down at a medium-sized firm in the city which is fucking nuts

Drexel graduate here. EE. The only worthwhile thing about Drexel is it's co-op program. Make the most out of that. Nobody believes Drexel's education is actually worth anything. It isn't rigorous at all.
I did one co-op at CDI and two at Ewing-Cole. I got a great job right out of school simply because of the experience. My interviewers hadn't even heard of Drexel and this was in MD. Not that far away.
