Anyone have some extensive pickup use under their belt?
I've got a SH2 in the neck and SH4 duncan in the bridge (what came with the guitar). Problem is they sound muddy as fuck, and focused too much on lows and low-mids.
I'd like to get some nice suggestions for pickups regardless of brand. Something that has some decent clarity for articulation, really emphasizes the highs and the mids. Mostly play metal, not downtuned.

I usually use 550K pots. There's about 10% variance usually so 550s end up being closer to 500 than 500s on average.

I love JBs but they can get a bit murky. If you want something that sounds like that pickup but has more clarity try a BKP Holy Diver.

BKP Painkiller could be another option but they don't sound fantastic in E Standard. Need to go down a little bit to thicken them up again.
A Warpig could be a good option if you're playing in E or Eb. It's similarly voiced to a Holy Diver but just has more of everything. Has a ton of low end but it's a very tight pickup.

It's a factory sample. I think they are charging to much for it but moreover I think the bridge is a poor choice for an ukulele. I think there's not enough tension on the saddles, they look loose. I'm not sure that them being crooked would change anything in terms of playability in this case, but it is ugly as fuck. I have played an electric ukulele in hawaii, they're alright but they sound exactly like an electric guitar which is pretty boring. They pretty much only exist for novelty value. Ukelele basses on the other hand are pretty cool.
