You can literally become more knowledgeable in the arts than a liberal arts major on your own without much effort these days. There are tons of free lessons online, and you can pirate all the classics yourself or look at paintings on Google images. With a lib arts degree, all you can do is work as a professor (all these seats are taken) or a teacher (enjoy working 24/7 while making less money than a starting finance student).
Meanwhile, a STEM degree is far easier to get (you just need to not be stupid and follow rules, instead of hoping that your art style / writing style / opinions on art are in line with your professors) and opens up limitless possibilities.
You would need to be damned near braindead to even bother with lib arts. Teachers are important and all, but that doesn't mean you should aim to be one. That's like making being a garbage man or janitor your life's goal.
>Philosophy
>Turn On The Bright Lights
>>64655839
>a STEM degree is far easier to get
what are you talking about?
>>64655885
It's technical knowledge. If you know it, you know it, and if you aren't braindead, you can learn it. Seeing as we live in an age with calculators and the internet, you have NO EXCUSE for doing poorly other than being a lazy fuck who can't check his work.
Meanwhile, liberal arts fags are at the mercy of the opinions of their teachers. In STEM, you are right, or you or not. In liberal arts, everything is subjective, so the cute girl might pass and you will fail based off of nothing concrete.
