Who says you need to listen to it?

1 or 2. Usually 1 but if im totally not sure by then a second listen would certainly cement my opinion.

Usually about three, but if it's an album I really, really enjoy on first listen or really despise (like the latest Cudi project) my opinion probably won't change that much

Wait, so...you guys will listen to a song and not know whether or not you liked it until you listen a few more times? That's so weird. Does that carry over into every aspect of your daily life? I can't imagine how hard it must be for people like you to form opinions on things. Like someone asks you if you like the food you're eating and you go, "Gee I dunno, I need to eat it three more times." If you got raped would the experience be completely neutral for you until you got raped some more? Jesus, what blank slates of men you are. It's more about trying to work out whether you like music on more than just a superficial level, would you listen to Ornette Coleman once and just be done with it? Sometimes I need to process music a couple of times to understand what a musician is trying to say or do artistically, are you honestly saying you just listen to music and then throw it away immediately?

Usually it takes me two listens to fully appreciate an album.

If I don't like an album I'll at least give it a second listen, if I like something first listen I'll give it at least three listens.
