Ah yeah, the 80s were not kind to him. Almost none of the albums he released in the 80s sold more than 3 copies though he did have a bit of an early 90s comeback.

I really hate Christgau's rating system, giving something a bomb isn't a fucking review. Anyway, American Caesar is a criminally underrated gem and Brick by Brick is solid but other than that I can't really argue with his Iggy ratings.
