Iron Lung made one pretty interesting LP that was two records(or two CDs, depending on the medium) meant to be played together at the same time. One LP had their trademark powerviolence sound, the other was a noise record. You could check that out first, I'm sure someone made a rip that put the two discs into one piece.
Column Of Heaven was also essentially a continuation of a band called The Endless Blockade after that band broke up. Several of the same members, somewhat similar sound. You should check them out as well.

Obviously, I like them. One of my favorite metal bands, although I prefer their older stuff. The new single they just released is kind of a kick in the nads, it's just sterile even when compared to anything on L'Enfant Sauvage. The prog/death elements that have carried their previous releases have been pretty much stripped from it and the progression/structure of the song itself is very standard. That being said, none of the teasers they released seem like they were in Stranded and those sounded pretty good, so I still have some hope.

Just listened to this lads. It was pretty good - definitely an original atmosphere for a tech death album. Couldn't really remember much from it but I guess it takes a few listens to sink in. Carved From Stone has a lead guitar that reminds me of Capcom games for some reason.
So what other meme albums should I listen to? I know there's Twilight Force, and I already love ROTNS. What else?
