Thank you based Sofia Coppola for putting this in

Nah. Psychocandy is worthy of respect but it's not actually all that enjoyable to listen to aside from a few tracks. My vote goes to either Disintegration or Daydream Nation.
Blue Bell Knoll is better
Quite influential too

Speak for yourself, all tracks in Psychocandy are enjoyable as fuck and pop perfection, specially the harsher ones.
>>63958387
Queen is Dead, Meat Is Murder and REM's Murmur are better.
>>63958387
not even the best smiths album
>>63958456
I agree that the harsher ones are the best. Those are actually the ones I wish the album had more of. Shit like In A Hole or Never Understand is awesome.
Isn't Anything
I guess moo was right, the 80s were kind of rubbish.

Idk I find the slower ones damn good. Something about the reverb and slight fuzz that really gives a feel of tranquility. It's a really nice contrast to the ear-splitting noise of the harsher tracks. They also sound more sweet/peaceful instead of full on apathetic/angry. It's a nice emotional contrast imo.

I suppose. For me, the pop underbelly that all the feedback and reverb hides is so simplistic that I prefer it when it's drenched in noise. The softer stuff is sweet but it's just kinda there to me.
>>63957969
Yes imo
