What artists are similar in style to this? I really enjoyed this noise rock/synth punk sounding record.
Oh hell yeah. I've been looking for answers to this as well.

I liked Death Magic a lot but I still prefer Health's older stuff.
I wouldn't even compare old Health and Death Magic. It's like a whole different band, but not at all in a bad way.
I haven't heard of this band before, what's their aesthetic?
I'm genuinely curios what people think is good about this band?
What does the music do for you?

Club music in the year 2030 except shitty and cheesy.
It's like harsh dance music. Sometimes sounds like power tools being used for instrumentation. It's oddly soothing though. Vocals are pretty nice contrast.
This was my 2015 AOTY
Haven't really found anything like it yet.
It's not the same style, but some of Trevor Something's stuff scratches the same itch.

It's like palatable dance music, darker but not as edgy as Aggrotech.

I like you description. I really loved the track MEN TODAY, the really harsh noise breaks followed by the calculated beats was wonderful

The vocals just feel really unnecessary and generic and the atmosphere just doesn't do anything for me
I guess I should never trust people on 4chan because I was expecting actual noise rock with synths
pfffffffft... Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM...

I literally said I haven't found anything like it yet.
I'm just mentioning stuff that gives the same 'danceable' feel
Fuck buttons gives me this feel as well, but it's harsher

PHM or HM-era NIN
Salem
Crystal Castles' II or III
Pictureplane
†‡† (Ritualz)
to a lesser extent Hot Chip, which are just consistenly GOAT synthpop, but less abrasive
don't forget to listen to HEALTH's score for Max Payne 3 which is supreme
that said, Death Magic is definitely their least best album
Get Color was the perfect blend of this album and their first, without the middle of the road compromises
s/t will always be their best to me though
pure insomniac noise rock

I'm not big into synth pop but Black Marble might be up your alley: https://youtu.be/W9xch2eN1I0
I prefer techno when it comes to dance music, stuff like Amon Tobin, Aphex, Orbital, etc.
Just don't confuse dance music, because noise rock is an actual genre that sounds nothing like dance music

Cool. I would argue that Death Magic isn't much of a noise rock album though.
Tracks like DARK ENOUGH and DRUGS EXIST sound very dancy to me.

God I feel like the instrumentals are truly 10/10 but the voices are fucking cringeworthy.
I'm really digging the older stuff.
They did a cover of High Pressure Days for the GT5 soundrack that i enjoyed.
Does the rest of their stuff sound like that (for anyone thats heard it)?
