Unfortunately not, could YouTube it to see if you like it, or Spotify. It's well worth buying.
Not that it's unexpected or anything, but it's basically 12 songs, all 3 minutes to 3 and a half minutes long, all of which follow the exact same verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus-outro which is chorus mixed with a lyric or two from the first first formula, but it's fucking amazing and if you like The Gaslight Anthem you'll love it.

It's a lot more punk than the rest of them, but that's actually what I love about it the most.
I can understand if you enjoyed The '59 Sound why you wouldn't enjoy American Slang or Get Hurt. And The Horrible Crowes too.
Personally the only thing Brian has had anything to do with that I've had trouble getting into was Get Hurt, which I now love. Literally everything else from his solo stuff, the Gaslight Anthem or The Horrible Crowes to me is at the very least a 9/10. Every TGA album bar Get Hurt is a 10.

it is about being conscious about what is good and not for you. If you like to drink or smoke then you are obv. allowed. if it makes your mood better or helps you become a better person or achieve some goals or just help to relax then its ok
it is bad when it takes your life over and becomes a goal itself
and also probably health benefits of completely avoiding all kinds of drugs arent that noticable compared to a moderate use of them
