A lot of CD versions of the album include Blue Monday and The Beach. Yeah, they're not on the original LP, but if you first heard it on CD then you know it by that tracklist.

Well it's not really your fault. many british band didn't (maybe they still do) include their singles in the LP. Then it gets included in future/american pressings.
For example Paint it Black isnt in the first pressing of Aftermath.
