On first listen I remember thinking it was kinda weird but I fell for it pretty hard after trying it again sometime down the road. It's got a really cool atmosphere about it and I think the way the two vocalists interact is really cool. They're often buried under the instrumental but they ebb and flow off the beat and each other, almost hypnotically.

I fell asleep listening to that album the other week, but that's only because I was dead tired I'm not slurring the album at all. The soundscape is amazing. But I don't understand, his voice is still fucking grating on my ears. It's the worst part about that song. At least Eyedea changed the way he sounded after First Born.

Someday. I feel like I burned myself out of hip-hop for a while. I've been spoiled by the immediate gratification of most rock music when before I listened to nothing but hip-hop. You really should check out the recs that other anon posted in this thread, Kool Keith is a beast as is dalek. Divine Styler I haven't listened to but I see nothing but praise for it.
