The biggest myth about Merriweather Post Pavilion is that's is incredibly accessible. It could be depending on your mood and your listening background. But it's also quite dense in places, with odd time signatures, discordant vocals, counter-melodies, etc.

It seems quite accessible. There are no harsh noises, awful vocals or other unpleasant stuff. However I find it hard to listen, and I really like electronic music mixed with rock. Maybe because it's too much reverb.

It took me a few listens but now I think it's a pretty great album. I look forward to Lion in a Coma every time. I think it's probably my favorite.
