Is there anything similar to this album and its followup? Seriously, I think this has become my favorite album of all time in less than a week.

You tried Mark Hollis s/t? My favourite of the bunch and my fave album ever. Otherwise, there's Bark Psychosis, Tortoise, and 'O'Rang, who all sort of riff off of Talk Talk's vibe. Also, Miles Davis' In a Silent Way.

Mark Hollis - s/t
It's a really pretty album, but it's a lot slower and has a mood that's a lot happier.

Seriously don't get the Herd of Instinct thing. That album seems way wilder.
Rodan - Rusty

It still has similar influences and song structures, just executed differently.

Nice digits. There's definitely some similiarities (partly because 'O'Rang are made up of two former Talk Talk members). Certainly in the actual process and creation of the albums, but even musically there are parallels. I sort of see it like Spirit of Eden/Laughing Stock being the In Rainbow's to Herd of Instinct's King of Limbs or something

I guess I can see that, but I'd rec that to Macha's fans before Talk Talk's
that is when they aren't the same person
