This was many years ago, but I was listening to From the Choirgirl Hotel and this song was playing on my headphones when I came home and entered my dark apartment. It was a nice freaked out feel that I wasn't expecting.
Probably nobody will relate but it sounds like someone legitimately searching for their soul in a physical fashion, thus turning themselves into a ghost.
